Hello readers.
I am back to blogging!
Guess what?
National Day is coming soon this year on 9th August 2009!

Did you guys notice the pattern on the date? 090809!
The date is super nice! *Grins*

The NDP 09 theme is Come Together – Reaching Out, Reaching Up!
I have seen the logo too, for your information, there is a heart shape in between the words! Cool! (:

Do you know that the theme song is "What do you see" sung by Electrico, a local band.
I have just heard the song last night, and i think it is quite nice, although i prefer the last year's theme song, or maybe songs like "We will get there", "Where i belong" or "There's no place I would rather be".

" Deep in my heart I just know
Right from the start, we will grow
Look where we are, we've come so far
And there's still a long, long way to go...

With all of my heart, I will care
I'll play my part, I will share
With family and friends, together we'll stand
And in the end, hand in hand
We will get there... "

Since National Day is around the corner, this also means that there will be National Day Parade too! Yay!

Nineteen years I've been a Singaporean.
And, I am happy that Singapore is a clean and safe place to live in.
For those who have not know, Singapore is a multiracial country.
I am proud to be a Singaporean and i love being here. (:

This also reminds me about my past experience celebrating National Day! There was this time my father took part in the National Day Parade, and we were given free tickets to watch National Day Parade.

It was my first time and i was so anxious to go although I know there will be crowds everywhere. Most of us will wear red and this adds to my excitement!

Oh yes, not forgetting the NDP fun pack! I love to have those. I noticed as time passes each year, the NDP fun pack will be filled with lots of different things and goodies. I remembered during my time, I got this clappers.

I heard this year NDP fun pack will go green. It is environmentally friendly with less plastic packaging, the pack also includes a ‘green’ poncho from recycled materials. There will also be hand shaped drum and latterns, which I believe they did not provide them last year! NDP fun pack is also nicely designed!
I would love to have one!

The National Day Parade hosts will also ask us to do the Kallang Roar! It was so nice to see the waves around the stadium during that time.

But, my most favourite part of all that i will be looking forward for during National Day Parade is the Fireworks! I remembered it was 8pm when the fireworks started. All of us were cheering and singing the National Day song.

This is the moment where Singaporeans share the joy together. (: Hardly to be seen on normal days as each of us would be busy with our daily routine.

Oh yes, I can't wait for this year's National Day Parade, especially knowing that it is going to be held at Marina Bay the floating platform again! Though this year, i didn't get any free tickets for NDP, i wish i could go out to watch the fireworks with my loved ones!(:

Do you guys feel the same way as me?
Let's cheer for Singapore!
